Burgas Is Already Part of the Enterprise Europe Network (ЕЕN)

The Enterprise Europe Network (ЕЕN) Business Support Network (ENE) is the largest information and consulting network in Europe to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) develop their innovation and technological potential, as well as raise their awareness of European Union policies.

The Southeast Digital Innovation Hub / DigIhub /, established in 2020 by the Municipality of Burgas, Industrial and Logistics Park – Burgas AD, University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov ”, Burgas Free University, ICT Cluster-Burgas and DINT Foundation, is already a member of the Enterprise Europe Network. As a key tool for the European Commission to pursue its policies to support small and medium-sized businesses in Europe, the EEN aims to increase the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises by providing integrated technology transfer advisory services, innovation and business.

EEN started in parallel in Sofia and Brussels in 2008, when it merged the previous European Innovation Centers (IRC Network) and Euro Info Centers (Euro Info Centers) and is currently represented in over 600 organizations in 66 countries.

The network covers the whole of Bulgaria with offices in Sofia, Vratsa, Ruse, Dobrich, Yambol, Stara Zagora, Plovdiv and Sandanski. For the first time, the city of Burgas is a point of it.

The Southeast Digital Innovation Hub / DigIhub / aims to help companies innovate and develop internationally by providing access to new markets for Bulgarian products, access to new technologies, to stimulate innovation in business and cooperation in research and development projects.

DigIhab offers free access to a range of consulting services, including exporting products or services to new markets, obtaining CE marking for products, financing growth plans, protecting intellectual property assets in another country, information on innovation-related policies, legislation and support programs, liaison with local innovation stakeholders and information on access to local sources of funding / support.
