The Chair of DINT Foundation begins her mandate at the European Economic and Social Committee

We are proud to announce that as of September 2025, the Chair of the Managing Board of DINT Foundation, Ms. Ina Agafonova, officially begins her mandate as a member of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) – the EU’s consultative body representing organized civil society.

Ms. Agafonova has been appointed as a member of Group III – Diversity Europe, which brings together representatives of the non-governmental sector, social economy, academia, and other independent experts working toward a sustainable, inclusive, and digitally driven future for Europe. In this new role, she will have the opportunity to directly contribute to shaping European policies in areas closely linked to digital transformation, sustainability, innovation, and democratic participation.

Her appointment to the EESC is a recognition of her longstanding commitment to regional transformation through innovation and digital technologies, as well as her active work in support of civil society through projects focused on sustainability, the digital transition, green economy, and social justice. As co-founder and leader of DINT Foundation, she is one of the key voices in Southeastern Europe advocating for the development of digital culture and a responsible digital future.

Ms. Agafonova’s participation in the EESC opens new opportunities for collaboration between DINT and European institutions, and for broader involvement of our network in strategic debates at the EU level. It also strengthens the role of DINT Foundation as a bridge between citizens, businesses, and public authorities within the framework of the European Digital Decade and the Green Deal.

We continue our mission of building digital resilience and shared knowledge with even greater motivation – now with a representative voice at the European level.
