On October 17, 2025, Burgas became the technological capital of Bulgaria with the hosting of Burgas Digital 2025, organized by DIGIHUB and the Municipality of Burgas. Under the motto “Time for Solutions: What Will Innovative Bulgaria 2040 Look Like”, the forum brought together leading experts, representatives of government institutions, business, and academia to discuss national priorities in innovation and digital transformation.
Across four thematic panels, participants explored topics such as national strategies for innovation and technology transfer, the application of artificial intelligence, the role of supercomputing infrastructure, the development of technological and creative ecosystems, and successful entrepreneurial practices.
The event demonstrated that Burgas is establishing itself as a leading center for digital innovation in Southeastern Europe — a place where ideas, technology, and entrepreneurship converge to shape the future.
