The deadline for the procedure “New Models in Manufacturing for SMEs” under the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Programme has been extended until 5 June 2026, 16:30 EET.
The programme supports Bulgarian micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises investing in:
• digital transformation
• smart manufacturing
• automation
• Industry 4.0 technologies
• innovation and production modernisation
The total budget of the procedure reaches approximately €96.3 million.
Funding opportunities include:
• up to €250,000 for micro and small enterprises
• up to €400,000 for medium-sized enterprises
• funding intensity of up to 70%
The extension provides additional time for companies preparing projects connected to digital manufacturing and technological modernisation.
The topic also connects with ongoing regional innovation initiatives such as the AquaSense IoT Hackathon in Burgas, organised under the BLUE CRISTAL project with participation from academic and technology partners.
