Taiwan’s TAcc+ International Program Supports Global SpaceTech Innovation

Taiwan Accelerator Plus (TAcc+) continues to expand its international startup activities through its International SpaceTech Startup Supporting Program, an initiative designed to connect global startups with Taiwan’s rapidly growing innovation and manufacturing ecosystem.

The program, supported by Taiwan’s Small and Medium Enterprise and Startup Administration (SMESA), focuses on helping international SpaceTech startups explore opportunities across the Asia-Pacific market through collaboration with Taiwanese industry, research institutions, investors, and supply chain partners.

According to TAcc+, participating startups can spend up to one month in Taiwan engaging directly with local enterprises, startup ecosystems, universities, and technology organizations while developing regional market strategies and partnership opportunities.

The initiative focuses on companies working in areas such as:

• communication satellites and systems integration
• remote sensing and satellite imagery applications
• AI and edge computing
• drone and UAV technologies
• satellite manufacturing
• ground equipment and aerospace systems

The program also highlights practical field verification opportunities in areas including 5G applications, maritime technologies, and drone operations. Selected startups receive support such as travel subsidies, workspace access, ecosystem matchmaking, and networking opportunities with Taiwanese industry leaders.

TAcc+ has increasingly positioned itself as a bridge between global startups and Taiwan’s advanced technology and manufacturing capabilities. Beyond SpaceTech, the accelerator has also supported innovation in sectors such as AIoT, healthcare, green technologies, smart infrastructure, and sustainability.

Since its establishment, TAcc+ has worked with hundreds of startups and contributed to the development of Taiwan’s broader innovation ecosystem through accelerator programs, startup mentoring, investment support, and international collaboration initiatives.

Programs like the TAcc+ International Program demonstrate how global startup ecosystems are becoming more interconnected through partnerships between governments, research institutions, accelerators, and technology companies. As SpaceTech and deep-tech innovation continue to grow internationally, initiatives focused on cross-border collaboration are playing an increasing role in supporting commercialization and international expansion.

At DINT, we continue to follow international startup initiatives, accelerator programs, and emerging technology ecosystems that support innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation across global industries.
